For Love of the Sport ™
Mike Hailwood gained legendary status in his own
lifetime winning nine motorcycle world championships between
1961-1967. He left with the intention of surpassing Surtees'
achievements by winning both motorcycling and car GP world titles. A
decade later, in 1978, he made his victorious comeback to
motorcycling, winning his tenth world title at the IOM F1 TT.
In producing our Hailwood Replica helmets we are
honoured to pay tribute to Hailwood's inspirational spirit, so well
encapsulated in his motto " For Love of The Sport. Although Hailwood
wore many different designs through his career, we worked closely with
photographers as well as Mike Hailwood's family and friends to
replicate, as best as we can, his best known design. We would like to
thank all the people concerned.
